Going back

Most of the time, I’m moving way too quickly through everything. I want to stop and sit, take a good look and let it all soak in. Days are full of tasks, and there isn’t usually any time built into the schedule for stopping and the soaking up of details. I guess I need to think about how to change that. I usually take photos to store away for later looking.

These are two versions painted from some of those photos. These were taken from the window of the car as we traveled through the Pinehouse area in Saskatchewan (see post “Loosening up” for more from the same trip) That was nine years ago now. Time flies. There were so many beautiful details.
